VCRI is comprised of 20+ dedicated high school students around the Lower Mainland work to make a difference in our community through Service Above Self.

Secretariat Team

Our Secretariat Team are elected leaders of VCRI who actively pursue Service Above Self. They are in charge of organizing new events, encouraging member participation, and delegating responsibilities.

Hey everyone! My name is Leon Hong and I’m a junior at Point Grey Secondary, I joined Interact since grade 9. I have always tried to contribute to my community. Interact offered me a great opportunity to reach my goals. I would like to improve my leadership skills and always keep socializing with more people. As the vice president, my goal is to do my best to help run the club and organize events! Outside the club, my hobbies are distance running, basketball, and games.

Hey everyone, I am Michael, a rising senior at Southpointe Academy who joined Interact at the start of my grade 11 school year. After my first few meetings, I felt attached to the voluntary work and the people I met at Rotary. As the rotary interact secretary for the upcoming year, I look forward to introducing new members to the club as we step on the journey of service above self. Other than Rotary, some of my hobbies consist of playing basketball, hanging out with friends, and watching anime.

Hey! I am Osborn Song, a grade 10 student at St. Georges Senior School and your 2024-2025 Vancouver Centennial Rotary Interact Treasurer. I joined Rotary Interact because I love helping the community, helping people in need and protecting the environment. Charity work was always an integral part of my high school career and Rotary has been nothing but helpful for me to be able to complete that goal. In my free time, I like to smash birdies, scout for the next bubble tea store that I will burn my money on, and terrorize my pet dog. I look forward to a successful year of Rotary Interact.

My name is Serena Lu,and I am a grade 10 student from Lord Byng. In my free time, I enjoy reading, swimming, and socializing. And in this club that is filled with dynamic and opportunity, I want to help our community become better and do my best to accomplish what I can. My name is Bright Ye, and I am a rising junior at Southpointe Academy. In my spare time, I play piano, Valorant, and read my IB textbooks. If I’m not on my computer, chances are I’m either working out, sleeping, or just lazing about. I’m also part of many different extracurriculars, including MUN, robotics (VEX v5, of course), and other fun clubs. Through Vancouver Centennial Rotary Interact club, I wish to positively impact my community and interact more with other like minded individuals.

Hi my name is Nick, I am from Lord Byng secondary school in Vancouver. I am grade 10. My hobbies are horse riding and badminton. The reason why I’m doing Rotary is that I like to help others, especially those in need. I want more people to feel the warmth when I am contributing to society in a positive way and to see the faces of happy people. I hope that this club can help maintain the environment, protect forests, oceans, and small animals in need. I am looking forward to a fun and productive year at this club. Members

I love the thrill of finding the perfect shot, whether it’s in nature or candid moments with friends and family. In my free time, I enjoy working with ceramics, shaping unique and beautiful pieces with my hands. Badminton is my go-to sport, where I can stay active and have fun. I’m always up for a challenge and love discovering new hobbies that allow me to express myself and stay active!
